Who we are and What we set out to do

It started off as a conversation about how we always had the most excruciatingly boring time-table on those dreadful mondays. It then grew into a discussion about education systems of our country and the 'Hey why didn't they teach me that at school' exclamations.

We've all been there. Having graduated from a couple of conventional schools less than four years ago, we had a fair view of how things were in the dominating boards and city schools. We began to probe further and soon recognised a few out-of-academic essentials  and real-world ideas which we felt was almost entirely lacking in most of our authoritarian learning systems.

It began with a few whims. [insert references from various popular and not-so-popular american TV shows, movies, and even cartoons that helped us open our minds to ways of learning and teaching that makes school worthwhile] To name a few there was #zooey daschnel from new girl, #ideas from community, #school of rock, #the magic school bus and even #Dr Seuss. At this point we were intent on volunteering in the not-so-formal educational set-ups, such as missionary schools and orphanages. In sheer excitement and love for teaching, we made charts and classifications of what activities we'd engage the kids in, and fun ways of interacting with them to get them thinking and questioning.
