Sitting in class with 9+

We met the 10 year old children today (we like how the classes are divided into year groups rather than the arbitrary grade system that we follow) and had quite an interactive day following them around through their classes. We learnt today that Shreyas also includes 2-4 orphans into some grades who study for free, live on campus but need to clean and cook for themselves. Quite an interesting and diverse mix of children + the out of class spoken language seemed to be dominantly hindi or gujarati. We also noticed a little initial hesitation to approach a new entity of their eco system, but that slowly shed and in no time we were jumping on trees, and teacher gossiping.
